Preferred process - Parametric design methodology.
Project still ongoing, images and photos are preliminary work. The project is located in Morocco, Aït Benhaddou. The site is an ancient Berber city entirely built out of rammed earth. The function of the project is a pubic forum that attempts to connect the old and new town. The new town is built with modern building techniques, whereas the old town follows traditional earth building methods. The thesis project is a critical response to the separation of the old and new, and uses the public sphere as the mediator between the two sides of the city.
